You’ve probably see cashback sites advertised on the TV or through websites and never really thought too much about them, or you didn’t realise just how easy it was to make cash from them, but it really is very easy.
All you do is signup with them (the two biggest and best networks are TopCashBack and QuidCo) – THEY ARE FREE TO JOIN - and every time you want to purchase anything, you just make sure you take a look to see if the retailer you want to buy from is listed with them, if they are click the link and make the purchase in the normal manner – you even pay the retailer in the same way that you would have if you went direct.
Make sure you sign up with both TopCashBack and QuidCo as often they have different offers – so you can make sure you always get the most money back.
How can these companies afford to pay you?
Simply they get paid for sending buyers to these retailers, and these cashback sites just pass some of this money on to you.
So for example, they might get paid 5% on anything you buy from Retailer A – they might then give you 4% of anything you spend; so if you spend £200 at Retailer A, the cashback site pockets £10 (their 5% of your £200 spend) but they give you your 4% (£8) – Kerching!
